Q: What does self-care mean to you?
A: Self-care means taking the time to be still & silent with yourself and your mind and tune into what your body needs. Giving yourself the space to give yourself what your body needs.
Q: You recently started incorporating slow wellness mornings into your routine, why?
A: We live in a world where everything is so rushed and fast paced, sometimes you are thrown into the day without even giving yourself time to think or tune into your body.
Slow mornings are a way to give myself space, quietness, and stillness, where I can do exactly what I want to do without being thrown straight into the rush and hustle of the day.
Q: Why is gut health so important to you?
A: The gut is interconnected to all the inner workings of your body – hormones, brain health, immunity, skin, energy… the list goes on. An imbalanced gut leads to an imbalance everywhere else in your body. It is so important to target the root of what could be going on with symptoms, and I always think a great place to start is in the gut. Once you begin to heal your gut, so much starts to fall into place.
